A Little Ceremony For Preparing For Sleep
A gentle guided audio experience to help you put the day aside and make room for rest.
Sometimes the day follows us all the way to bed.
Thoughts keep turning. Tomorrow's tasks begin to gather. The body may be tired, while the mind is still moving through conversations, unfinished business and everything that hasn't quite settled.
A Little Ceremony for Preparing for Sleep offers a few quiet minutes to begin letting go of the day and turning towards rest.
Through warm, guided words and gentle pauses, you'll be invited to settle into the moment, release the need to keep thinking or doing, and allow the evening to draw towards its close.
There's nothing to achieve, and no particular state you need to reach. You don't have to empty your mind, control your breathing or make yourself fall asleep. This is an invitation to step away from the demands of the day and give yourself permission to rest.
What you'll receive
One guided audio experience, approximately 7–10 minutes in length.
There is no written Companion, workbook or PDF. You don't need to prepare anything in advance or have anything with you.
Listen as part of your bedtime routine, while settling into bed, or whenever you'd like to step away from the busyness of the day and make room for rest.
You don't need to be ready to sleep, and there's no need to make sleep happen. This is a little time to loosen your hold on the day and allow yourself to rest before whatever comes next.
Choose the version that suits you: a voice accompanied by a gentle soundscape, or voice alone.
You can return to the experience whenever you'd like. There's no need to listen perfectly or follow every word. If sleep comes before the audio ends, let yourself rest.
A little time for you
The day has had its time. Tomorrow can wait. For now, there's nothing more you need to do.
Settle in when you're ready. We'll hold the space for you.
*A note before listening
Please listen in a place where you can relax safely and give the experience your attention. Do not listen while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or undertaking any activity that requires your full attention. If you're listening before sleep, make sure you're settled somewhere safe and comfortable.
