Behind Sonorosa…

Sonorosa grew from a love of listening to music, to landscape, to story, and to the quieter things that can sometimes be heard when we stop rushing around.

The journeys and ceremonies are created by a musician, sound practitioner and digital celebrant whose work brings together music, spoken word, seasonal practice and place.

My creative practice explores the ways sound and story can help us pause, reflect and mark the moments that matter to us.

Sonorosa is intentionally personal, but not prescriptive. The experiences are invitations rather than instructions: gentle spaces in which you can listen, reflect and find your own meaning. Some are rooted in season and landscape; others just acknowledge the ordinary thresholds of life.

You don't need to share my beliefs or practices to use them. You only need to bring your own experience, curiosity and willingness to listen.
