A guided ceremony for welcoming a new place into your life and beginning to make it your own.
A place to begin
Moving into a new home can bring many feelings: excitement, relief, uncertainty, or sadness for what has been left behind. Even a move you've longed for can take time to feel real.
A Ceremony for a New Home offers a moment to pause, acknowledge what this change means to you, and consider what you hope your home will hold. It is an invitation to begin a relationship with the place you now inhabit, without needing to have everything settled.
A welcome of your own
Through spoken words, music and moments of quiet, you'll be invited to reflect on the journey that brought you here and the qualities you'd like your home to nurture — perhaps rest, friendship, creativity, safety or the freedom to be yourself.
The ceremony includes a small act of welcome: a personal gesture to mark your arrival. You might touch a doorway, open a window or choose a meaningful object. There is no single right way to do this.
What you'll receive
A written Companion PDF for you to download, to help you prepare, accompany the ceremony and reflect afterwards.
A guided audio ceremony lasting approximately 15–20 minutes, with music or with voice alone.
Before you begin
Choose a time when you can pause without interruption. You might bring a key, an object from your previous home or something you'd like to place in your new space.
A moment to carry with you
A home is made over time, through familiar sounds, ordinary routines and the small things that gradually become part of a life.
This ceremony marks a beginning, not a deadline for belonging.
Come as you are. Pause. Listen. Welcome what comes next.
